I wanted to tell everyone that for the rest of December, I’m taking time off to process all the things that happened to me in 2017.
I know it’s been a terrible year for many, but I arguably had one of the best years of my life so far. I do want those who felt that 2017 destroyed them to know that you won’t always feel that way. There’s also some beauty in going through this pain because it’s just a reminder that kindness and compassion are more powerful than one thinks.
I also want to get Comrades Against Suicide rolling a bit too. You (or anyone you know) can still share your stories here. I won’t rush anyone because I know it’s hard to say something, but I know you can try and there’s no harm. Believe me. I don’t want to rush this new project myself and it will always be a work in progress.
Though after hearing a story like this where hard work and ambition can’t solve all of life’s problems, enough is enough.
I’ll still be reading a bunch of manga as always. In a sense, this is a time for me to read stuff I’ve been wanting to read or catch up on.
I want everyone to experience as much joy as they can this holiday season and to have a joyful New Year.
See you in 2018 for what’s possibly an even stronger year for anime and manga.
