On this episode, Kokkoro won tickets to a beach resort. Later, the Gourmet Guilds meets other guild members on the beach.

Ah, yes… I’ve always wanted a beach fan service episode. It’s quite nice to see girls’ gacha summer art being animated. Also, seeing Kyaru bonding with her friends more is cool. Other than that, I find Yuuki to be still hilarious on using limited speech even though he can already fully interact already. Now what’s going to be the next plot? I’ll looking forward to it. Overall, nice beach moments and more cool new characters introduced. …continue reading

Campaigning For Diversity In Japan’s Beauty Industry With Priyanka Yoshikawa

Campaigning for Diversity in Japan's Beauty Industry with Priyanka Yoshikawa

While she’s been a staple of the modeling world in Japan and abroad since finishing high school, Priyanka has used her media attention to shine a light on how important it is to embrace diversity in a nation as homogeneous as Japan.

In May she’s also just launched an ageless, genderless, and ethnically diverse CBD wellness and beauty range to help solidify her message, inspired by her experience as a multi-racial woman growing up in Japan and her excitement for aging.

You had a pretty exciting childhood, can you tell us a little bit about your background?

I was born in Tokyo to a Japanese Mom and Indian Dad. My Mom has an incredible passion for learning, so when I was in the first grade, I moved to California with her so she could broaden her studies.

Going to school in the States was so eye-opening, the diversity of my classmates was something that opened my eyes to the world and was such a formative experience for me. It was the first time I’d really seen peers that looked like me. I really think while I didn’t know it at the time, this set the foundations for what my life’s ambitions would later become.

[…] the diversity of my classmates was something that opened my eyes to the world and was such a formative experience for me

But by the time I was in 4th grade [nine years old], my Mom was completing her studies, and my Dad was out of Japan a lot on business, so my parents asked me to decide between moving back to Japan to live with my grandparents, or going to India to live with my father’s family. After so much time outside of the country, I couldn’t imagine going back to life in Japan, …continue reading

Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta Episode 9 Impression

Untitled112329.jpg

On this episode, Anne reveals her point of view on Katarina. Meanwhile, Katarina continues to enjoy hanging out with her friends.

So I really liked how Anne reveals her point of view on Katarina and even points out how dense she is. Also, it was interesting to see some of the maid’s past. Other than that, seeing Katarina herself hanging out with her friends is nice as usual. But, there’s a shocking scene after the credits which didn’t quite make any sense for me yet. Now what’s going to happen next? I’ll be really looking forward to it. Overall, interesting point of view revealed for Anne and more enjoyable hanging out scenes. …continue reading

Star Ghost Agency from Another World Web Novel Rewritten and Honeyfeed

A web novel status update is that I’ve started re-writing Star Ghost Agency from Another World and it will now be mainly on Honeyfeed. The re-write will be in “third person” instead of “first person” because the story basically follows the two main protagonists (plus, I’ll have more room for world building and counter my writer’s block/being stuck). Feel free to check out the newly re-written web novel on Honeyfeed.
