Aug 02 (NHK) - A man was slightly injured when a cable snapped during a bungee jump in western Japan.
The accident occurred on Tuesday at a theme park in Sasebo City, Nagaski Prefecture. The cable connected the 20-meter-high platform with an elastic cord that was attached to the 37-year-old man.
Police say the cable snapped when the man was about to move upward. They say he bounced off a mat and injured his right shoulder.
