3 middle school boys drown in Aichi river

Three middle school students died Monday after they drowned in the Kisogawa river in Ichinomiya.
At about 1:30 p.m., local authorities received an emergency call saying four middle school students were drowning in the river.
The boys were taken to a hospital, but three of them were later confirmed dead, police officials said. The fourth boy remained conscious, they said.
