Hokkaido pimp busted for using Twitter to solicit customers for teen girl

Officers from the Chuo Police Station in Sapporo, Hokkaido last week arrested a 35-year-old male for using social networking site Twitter to solicit customers for a teenage prostitute, reports the>Sankei Shimbun (Aug. 1). Takuya Mimasa was taken into custody on August 1 for violating the Anti-Prostitution Law after he allegedly recruited 12 customers for an 18-year-old girl by posting messages on Twitter between May 14 and 25.
