Truck hits family on road shoulder; 1 killed

An 18-year-old man died, and his mother, 50, and sister, 21, were in critical condition after a car crash on an expressway in Wake, Okayama Prefecture, on Friday night. His father, 52, was also injured.
The family's car was parked on the shoulder of the road after a blowout and the four were outside the car, when it was hit by a large truck at about 10:15 p.m., according to the Okayama prefectural police.
