Woman arrested for attempted murder after putting son in plastic bags

Police have arrested a woman on suspicion of attempted murder by putting her 5-year-old son inside plastic bags, investigators said.
Rescue workers arrived at a home in Meguro Ward, Tokyo, after receiving an emergency call that a child there was in bad shape. They found the son in the living room, and he was taken to a hospital but was unconscious. Police arrested the son's mother, Shizu Shigeta, 41, after she reportedly told them she put her son in plastic bags because he "wouldn't listen to what I said."
