LOS ANGELES, Jun 28 (News On Japan) - Brad Pitt's Los Angeles residence was broken into while the actor was in Tokyo as part of a world tour promoting his latest film, according to U.S. media reports.
The burglary occurred around 10:30 p.m. on June 25th, when three individuals reportedly entered the home through a window and stole valuables. The property, located in an upscale neighborhood near Hollywood, was purchased by Pitt in April 2023 for approximately 5.5 million dollars, or around 800 million yen.
At the time of the break-in, Pitt was in Tokyo for a stage greeting event tied to his new film’s promotional campaign. The total value of the stolen items has not been disclosed.
The incident comes amid a spate of similar break-ins at celebrity homes in Los Angeles, including the residence of Nicole Kidman. Local police are investigating possible links between the cases.
