Foreigners Keep Falling for This Sex Scam in Japan

TOKYO, Mar 15 (Japanese Comedian Meshida) - Many foreign men using escort services known as “delivery health” have been falling victim to a scam called panel magic.

Customers select a woman from photos online, but when she arrives, a completely different woman shows up.

This bait-and-switch is what’s known as panel magic.

It’s a bit like ordering clothes from a Chinese online shopping site—what you see online and what actually arrives can be very different.

There’s even a well-known saying in Japan’s delivery health industry: the more money you pay, the less panel magic happens.
