TOKYO, Apr 19 (News On Japan) - Four groups made up of civilians affected by the Pacific War—including victims of air raids, survivors of the Battle of Okinawa, and former foreign BC-class war criminals—held a parade in Tokyo on April 19th to raise awareness about the lack of support for war victims based on their civilian status or nationality.
More than 60 people took part in the demonstration, calling for "relief without discrimination." The participants aim to highlight that many individuals have been excluded from war-related aid programs due to their citizenship or non-combatant status.
