ANA Flight Forced To Return To Haneda

TOKYO, Oct 14 (News On Japan) - An All Nippon Airways flight bound for Iwakuni was forced to return to Haneda Airport on the night of October 13th after a possible incident involving its landing gear and a runway light during takeoff.

According to ANA, Flight 639 was preparing to depart shortly before 9 p.m. when the aircraft’s front wheel may have come into contact with one of the runway lights. The plane subsequently turned back to Haneda as a precaution. There were 168 passengers on board, and no injuries were reported.
