TOKYO, Oct 23 (News On Japan) - A train window on the Tobu Tojo Line shattered while the train was in motion on the evening of October 22nd, leaving five passengers injured.
According to police, the incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. as an upbound train traveling between Kasumigaseki Station and Kawagoe-shi Station passed a downbound train traveling in the opposite direction. A rock is believed to have struck the side window, causing it to break.
A passenger in a neighboring car said, "There was a loud cracking sound, completely different from usual, and everyone started murmuring. A rock flew in and shattered the window, hitting some people. Some were bleeding and everyone was confused, asking, 'What just happened?'"
All five passengers sustained minor injuries, authorities said.
