Apr 24 (News On Japan) - For the first time in his life, comedian Nagano—known for disliking romance reality shows—sat down to watch one with TV personality Chinatsu Wakasugi, a self-proclaimed romance reality show enthusiast. The pair viewed the premiere episode of the new series Offline Love together.
Wakasugi, who describes herself as someone who “lives for romance shows,” guided Nagano through the experience. The opening 15 minutes of the episode were shown completely uncut, capturing Nagano’s raw, unfiltered reactions.
At one point, Nagano blurted out, “Back in the Edo period, this would be considered the same as sex!”—highlighting his characteristic mix of humor and cultural commentary. The segment offers an unusual pairing of perspectives: one from a viewer who adores the genre, and the other from a skeptical newcomer.
