Aomori, Oct 02 (News On Japan) - A man in his 60s was found bleeding and collapsed inside a cattle barn in Tsugaru, Aomori Prefecture on the morning of October 2nd, later dying after his condition suddenly worsened.
According to fire officials, an emergency call was made shortly after 9:30 a.m. reporting that a man was lying on the ground with facial bleeding inside the barn. When rescuers arrived, the man explained that he had been headbutted by a cow. He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The local livestock cooperative said the barn complex consists of five buildings housing between 500 and 600 cattle, most of them crossbreeds of Japanese Black and Holstein.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, including how the accident occurred.
