Mar 01 (Japanese Garden Collection) - Yōkōkan Teien is a traditional Edo-period stroll garden (kaiyū-shiki teien) located in Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture.
Originally built in the early 17th century as a second residence and villa for the ruling Matsudaira clan of the Fukui domain, it features a large central pond surrounded by landscaped paths, stone bridges and traditional architecture that harmonize with nature.
