Workers stand on the Hakkoda-Towada Gold Line road with snow walls up to 8 meters high.

The 8-kilometer-long stretch of road connects Aomori and Towada cities. Snow removal work on the road, which took a month, was completed Thursday. The public will be able to start using the road on Saturday.
