Fender Unveils Godzilla Guitar With Roar Feature

TOKYO, Oct 10 (News On Japan) - Fender, the US-based instrument maker, unveiled its first collaboration guitar with Godzilla on October 9 in Tokyo, featuring a special-edition “Godzilla Guitar” capable of reproducing the monster’s iconic roar.

With a glowing body and other unique design elements, only five of the limited models will be produced worldwide, each priced at 5.5 million yen. A Japan-made version will be offered in blue and black, priced at 495,000 yen. In these models, the dorsal fins illustrated on the pickguard light up in sync with the performance.

Fender said sales in Japan have continued to rise, supported by demand during the COVID-19 pandemic, and expressed strong expectations for the market.
