TOKYO, Oct 14 (News On Japan) - Japan’s largest technology exhibition, CEATEC, bringing together the latest advances in digital innovation, opens on October 14th with a strong focus on artificial intelligence designed to seamlessly integrate into everyday life.
Among the standout exhibits is Mitsubishi Electric’s “CielVision,” a system capable of projecting three-dimensional images into empty space, viewable with the naked eye. One potential application being explored is displaying real-time alerts above highways to help prevent vehicles from driving in the wrong direction.
Sony is showcasing a “wearable air conditioner,” part of a broader initiative to address social challenges such as global warming. The device uses AI to detect humidity and changes in how it is worn, automatically adjusting to maintain an optimal temperature.
CEATEC will run for four days at Makuhari Messe, offering a glimpse into how emerging digital technologies — many powered by AI — are set to transform daily living.
