Anthropic to Resume Mythos-Class AI Model After Export Controls Lifted

TOKYO - Anthropic said on June 30 that the U.S. Commerce Department has lifted export controls on its latest AI model, Claude Fable 5, allowing the American AI developer to resume offering the system in stages from July 1.

Claude Fable 5, which has performance on par with the Claude Mythos class, had been suspended worldwide on June 12 after the U.S. government imposed export control measures over national security concerns.
