Toyosu's 'Senkyaku Banrai' Tourist Facility Opens Five Years Late

TOKYO, Feb 02 (News On Japan) - The Toyosu Market's tourist facility, "Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai," has finally opened its doors, marking its debut five years behind the original schedule.

Located in the Koto Ward of Tokyo, adjacent to the Toyosu Market, "Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai" comprises the "Shokuraku Building," hosting 63 dining establishments, and the "Onsen Building," which includes accommodation facilities.

Managed by "Manyo Club," the facility is expected to attract an annual footfall of approximately 2.6 million visitors.

At the opening ceremony, Governor Yuriko Koike expressed optimism, stating, "The integration of Toyosu Market's internal and external areas will generate even greater excitement."

Initially slated to coincide with the opening of Toyosu Market in October 2018, the launch of the facility was postponed due to the withdrawal of the operating company and soaring construction costs.
