TOKYO, Oct 17 (News On Japan) - Honda has announced plans to release four new motorcycle models, including the Super Cub 110 Pro Lite, designed to meet stricter emissions standards set to take effect in November.
Based on a 110cc engine, the new bike’s maximum output has been limited to under 4 kilowatts—roughly equivalent to a 50cc scooter—to ensure it can be driven with a standard license. Production of Honda’s traditional 50cc mopeds will end in October. The company aims to sell about 6,500 units of the Super Cub series annually in the domestic market.
